The structure of the freezer generally includes the box, refrigeration system, and electrical system.
Refrigeration system
The basic role of the freezer is to refrigerate and keep the box at a proper low temperature. The refrigeration system is generally composed of four basic components: compressor, condenser, capillary or thermostatic expansion valve and evaporator. Refrigerant is a liquid that can boil at low temperature at low pressure, absorb heat when boiling, refrigerant circulates continuously in the refrigeration system, the compressor increases the gas pressure of the refrigerant, resulting in liquefaction conditions, condensation liquefaction through the condenser releases heat, and then through the capillary tube when reducing the pressure and temperature, and then through the evaporator when boiling vaporization to absorb heat, and now the development of refrigeration diodes, no complex mechanical devices, but poor efficiency, used in small refrigerators.
Freezers originally used F12 (Freon 12) as refrigerant, because it will damage the ozone layer of the atmosphere, now use R600a/R134a/R404 and other refrigerants.
In addition, because there is inevitably some moisture and impurities in the system, a filter drier is generally installed at the inlet end of the capillary.
Electrical system
Refrigerators use electricity as the main energy source, rely on motors to drive compressors or refrigeration diodes, and are generally equipped with relay protectors and thermostats.
Refrigerator motors using compressors are divided into resistance split-phase starting type, capacitor starting type and capacitor starting capacitor operation type according to different starting methods. The motor of the fully enclosed compressor is installed inside the refrigeration system, long-term contact with refrigerant and refrigeration oil, and withstand pressure, high temperature, etc., so it is necessary to have refrigerant and refrigeration oil resistance, stable electrical performance, high temperature resistance, vibration and shock resistance, large starting torque and keep clean and moisture-free.
Box
The box is composed of structural materials and thermal insulation materials that create space to store food and prevent internal and external heat transfer. The box body generally includes the outer box, inner tank and thermal insulation layer. The inner tank (lining) of the refrigerator is generally vacuum formed with ABS or HIPS sheet, with a thickness of less than 1 mm, white and smooth. Thermal insulation materials are widely used in polyurethane foam, which has excellent thermal insulation performance and little change in thermal conductivity after long-term use.
